Our 5th Year

As many of you may or may not know on the 7th of March 2023 OMR will have been broadcasting on the Internet for 5 years.

A big thanks to you our listeners and supporters. You are who we do this all for. We have been fortunate enough to have built relationships with quite a few Independent Artist and their PR Management who we have promoted and in turn they have promoted us. We look forward to the continued and future relationships that help make OMR a great place to come and listen to and promote new and Independent Artists

It has been quite a journey, and we have learnt a lot along the way. We couldn’t have got here without some key people who have been very important to Our Music Radio. So first of all I must thank my family, who have had to tolerate my focus and dogged commitment to the station and also those who continued to encourage me to carry on when things appeared to be bleak. Secondly I would like to thank our tech guy, who happens to be my brother Mark whom without there would be no website,blog and Apple.app, all of which have all been created by him.

I would then like to give a big thanks to Paul R who started on the station 4 weeks after we first broadcast and has been here ever since through all the ups and downs that we have encountered along the way. Then there is DJ Grizz, who has been here for over an invaluable 3 and a half years. I would also like to mention DJ Harper & DJ Cliff Brown who were also great contributors to our station.

Without all the aforementioned it would have been extremely difficult to maintain the running of the station so thank you all.

Their commitment to bring you blazing shows is outstanding.

Once again a very warm welcome to the new member of the team Kelly Robinson.

I also have to mention Carpetmasters of London and its C.E.O. Tyrone Wong, who have sponsored the station right from the outset literally.

I only want to focus on the positives but I must say thank you all for your time and patience when as you know there have been technical issues beyond our control, including whilst we continue to make improvements to the station to benefit all. We are still a work in progress.

So in ending I would like to say thanks to all who have been integral to Our Music Radio, especially those who continue to support us, you the listeners and Artist with all of you behind us we will continue to grow.
