Ernest Stuart
Born and raised in Philadelphia , Ernest Stuart a Trombonist who moved to New York for his profession. Never forgot his roots and in 2012 despite his better judgement, he took a leap of faith and launched a kickstarter campaign. With no background in organising a major music event, he had the idea to start a Jazz festival that would take place in the heart of downtown Philadelphia and so was born the first Center City Jazz Festival. Fast forward to today and Ernest now carries the title of founder and creative director of the festival. Now after a 3 year Hiatus due to the pandemic the Center City Jazz Festival is back on the 22nd of April 2023. www.ccjazzfest.
